The architectural, graphic effect of this design is enhanced by the contrast of thick and dense cut-pile foreground with an elegant looped-pile contrast background. The inherent colour variation found in the un-dyed wool creates a focus on texture and the raw materials used, which are sourced from sheep grazing high in the Himalayas.
