WOW!house 2023
Each year a new collective of international designers and suppliers come together to show the world the very best in interior design talent, all under one roof.
WOW!house gives visitors the unique opportunity to experience 17 full-sized rooms exhibiting a kaleidoscope of different styles, colours, craftsmanship and concepts created by some of the world’s most esteemed designers.
Jennifer Manners Design is honoured to have collaborated on a selection of bespoke rugs for three of the designer spaces. Look out for our rugs in the stunning rooms by Winch Design, Clare Gaskin and Timothy Mather.
WINCH DESIGN
Winch, designing the Terrace space, selected a modified version of our Grid rug and a round version of our Malibu rug. Both designs were originally crafted in a hand-knotted quality but have been adapted to flatwoven rugs for this space - making them perfect for both indoor and outdoor use.
Woven using our award-winning /re/PURPOSE PERFORMANCE fibres (made entirely from recycled water bottles), these rugs are luxurious yet low maintenance due to being moisture-resistant and bleach cleanable.
CLARE GASKIN
Clare Gaskin selected a Marseilles runner in Terracotta for her study. Also made using /re/PURPOSE PERFORMANCE fibres, the runner is ideal for high traffic. Clare and her team wanted to design a space that encourages comfort and calmness by bringing the outside in and creating a room that feels as though it has been naturally curated over time.
Taking inspiration from the comfortable, casual elegance of the South of France, Marseilles suits their brief perfectly. Dyed to mimic the colours of natural jute and sisal grasses, the rugs are woven with vibrant pops of colour, adding a textural and playful layer to a space.
TIMOTHY MATHER
For Timothy Mather’s Dayroom space sponsored by Alexander Lamont + MILES and Lauren Hwang, a completely bespoke rug was designed in 100% Himalayan wool.
Taking inspiration from 1920s Paris, the Jazz Age and Josephine Baker, the round “Josephine” rug has an Art Deco feel with an irregular monochrome motif as a base for the playful, sophisticated scheme.
